Born - 16.11.1939 in Yerevan.
1969 - graduated from the Composer department of Yerevan State Conservatory. 1969-72 - musical editor at Armenian Radio; since 1969 teachs at Yerevan Conservatory. Since 1991 - head of the Union of Composers and specialists of music. Author of music of 16 feature and 30 animation films.

Ayvazyan, Artemiy (Harutyun)
Born - 09.07.1902 in Baku. Died - 14.11.1975 in Yerevan.
1923 - graduated from the Tbilisi Conservatory; in 1932 - Mowcow Conservatory. In Yerevan took lessons of musical composition from A. Spendiarov. Was the first professor of violoncello class at Yerevan State Conservatory. 1938 - established the Estrada ensemble of Armenia, headed until 1956. 1943-45 - artistic head of Yerevan Musical Comedy Theater. Except of Armenian films has writtten also music for the films of other Soviet studios ("The Snow Queen" cartoon animation).

Born - 06.06.1903 in Tiflis (Tbilisi). Died - 01.05.1978 in Moscow.
1922-29 - studied in Gnesins' High Music. College Moscow. 1934 - graduated from the Moscow Conservatory (N.Myaskovsky's composition master-class. Wrote music for many Soviet and Armenian films.
